This little three-dimensional 20x15mm winged gargoyle animal totem bead is carved from semiprecious GREEN AVENTURINE gemstone. It is full drilled through the center, head to tail, and the bead hole is approximately 1.5mm. Highly detailed and nicely carved. This is the last one remaining in my collection… or anywhere!  Custom design, one-of-a-king, old stock, discontinued.  Antique, purchased in 2003.

 AVENTURINE: is a translucent to opaque variety of Quartz, distinguishable by its inclusions of shiny minerals that give the stone a sparkling effect known as 'aventurescence'.
