Rare, vintage, limited edition, glass bead set from the Czech Republic. This four-piece serpent/snake set is matte black in color and is molded and etched from pressed glass. It includes head (22mm x 15mm), tail (15mm x 8mm) and two body sections (15mm x 8mm). For a total length of approximately 60mm. Holes run lengthwise, from top to bottom, so that the beads can be strung together in its natural form. The pattern is continuous on all sides.

This is a Czech Republic, 1990s REPRODUCTION of their original 1920’s glass serpent beads, using the same antique molds from old Czechoslovakia. This design was classified as *Egyptian Revival* which gained popularity back in 1922 after the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. These are retired, limited edition reproductions that have been cast using original molds in more contemporary glass colors with new matte and color-washed finishes. These are now also discontinued and considered vintage collectors beads, and are as difficult to find in complete sets as their antique predecessors!

Just add spacer beads and clasps of your choosing to create any length from bracelet to necklace. Perfect theme for Halloween and makes a great addition for collectors of rare, vintage novelty-shaped beads.
